We first used the The Oxford Ski Company many years ago when our children were young and inexperienced skiers so we anticipated all the usual tensions that go with skiing with young children. I used The Oxford Ski Company to organise an event for a top client for their annual sales kickoff. The Oxford Ski Company organised every little detail right down to specialist skis being delivered to the door and a team building ‘Company Olympics’. This was an annual event for 80 employees, there was a budget to adhere to while at the same time offering luxury to everyone involved. As I was in control of the budget, I contacted numerous companies for price comparisons. Their contacts, expertise and knowledge of the resorts were invaluable and ensured we were able to bring the event in on budget. Since the service I received from Oxford Ski for corporate events was so exceptional I have also used them for a number of private bookings for weekend ski trips. I have worked closely with Oxford Ski for the last seven years- initially as a tour operator and more recently as a consultant representing other ski clients and private chalet owners. At all times they have been professional yet friendly, extremely efficient and a pleasure to deal with. I have also spent many hours talking to them and discussing their opinion on certain aspects of the industry, pros and cons of operators/ properties/ resorts, and getting their feedback on the market and what clients are asking for. I have built up a great respect for them and know that they have their finger on the pulse of the industry. In addition I have also booked my own personal ski holidays through them and have recommended them to many friends. The service and attention to detail that they offer is exactly the same if you are spending £800 or £5,000 per head. Likewise they actually listen to what you want from your holiday and make sure they find the best possible options rather than simply forcing you into the chalet that pays them the highest commission. With many companies the service stops the minute you depart for your holiday, however the follow up service is just as thorough as the pre-holiday service. I wouldn't consider booking through anyone else.
